Import Site Boundaries (KML)
Naming Conventions
1. Regions where you want trackers placed must be labeled 'Site Boundaries'
2. Areas to exclude must be labeled 'DC Constraints'
3. The area for batteries must be labeled 'BESS Area' (one per site)
4. The grid connection must be labeled 'Grid Substation' (one per site)
Need a KML File?
Google Earth makes quick work of generating .kml files. After navigating to their
website,
define areas using the polygon drawing tool and label them accordingly. Then export as a .kml file.

Battery Spacing
Clear gap between neighbouring batteries. Both orientations are tried, each rotated up to 45° either way in 5° steps, and the layout that fits the most units wins. EW and NS follow the battery grid, so they turn with it.
